Earlier, Ehsanul received ‘A*’ (A stars) in five subjects  -  Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Accounting & Business, and  ‘A’ in two subjects - English  & IT  -  at ‘O’ levels final Cambridge Examination 2004.

Having studied 3 years in primary school in Virginia, USA while his father was posted as an officer in the Bangladesh Embassy in USA, Ehsanul’s foundation was strong. He enrolled in BISES in Jeddah in Year-4.  Ehsanul being a Bangladeshi took up the challenge against the IGCSE by taking up English as a First Language. He acquired ‘A’ grade by dint of his hard work.

In a discussion with  the Chairman of the School Governing Board of BISES, he comments, “ Ehsanul’s achievement has not only made our School proud but also the Bangladesh Community in Jeddah; we will arrange a lecture to be delivered by Ehsanul for our students when he will visit Jeddah in next summer and I am sure he will prove to be the source of inspiration for the rest of our students”.

In the words of teachers who have taught him mathematics, economics, physics, accounting, English and business studies over the past few years at Bangladesh International School (English Section), it is his humble head on his shoulders that makes him succeed in all his endeavors.

Mrs. Elizabeth Fiano, Ex-Principal of the School said, “I have rarely come across such a brilliant boy in my life; he has evolved as a dynamic youngster who has continuously developed his social, academic and intellectual skills”.

Mrs. Zubaida Abdul Aziz, Mathematics Teacher said: “Ehsanul has an outstanding mathematical ability – his grasping power is above average standard of ability Alhamdulillah! His best positive point is -  he has his own idea of solving a problem, not just following what the teacher’s say, thus proving himself has an ability to researching and analyzing the problems”

I then asked Ehsanul’s family about their feelings. His father – Muhammed Momtajul Hoque, who is working in the Islamic Development Bank as the Executive Secretary to the Vice President (Trade & Policy) said: “ He has made us proud of his outstanding performance in both ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level Final Examinations; he also scored very high in SAT which is possible only for 1% students world wide; I seek all of your prayer for his continuous success”.

In fine, I asked Ehsanul who quoted, “In order to achieve anything it requires  belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember, all your dreams can come true if you have the perseverance. Keep your dreams alive.” In reply to a question about his future plan Ehsanul said, “Inshallah I will accomplish M.Sc first, then I’ll go for MBA from a renowned university; I’ll  work for my country”.
